What is Neuropathy?

Neuropathy (or peripheral neuropathy) is any abnormal or degenerative condition of the nervous system or nerves.  The causes and symptoms are wide-ranging, and the pain can be mild to extremely severe.  Diabetic patients often suffer with neuropathy, but you do NOT have to be a diabetic to suffer with neuropathy. Some forms of neuropathy can be completely corrected, and others may last a lifetime. The most common sites are the legs and feet.
